Why, I wonder, does basic humanity evade the grasp of some people. What possessed Red? Why did she think that throwing puppies into a river was something that humans do? The Internet? Slavery? Marilyn Manson? Rap music? LSD? What thing that makes the rest of us not throw puppies into rivers is it that Red lacks?
Happily, she’s been found. Her name might be Katja Puschnik, a Bosnian girl who says she went on her puppy-tossing jag because her Grandma said they were sick. Oh, OK. I guess that explains your giggles as you carried out the dreadful deed. Awful, Katja. Just awful.

There are humane ways to put down a puppy that is suffering what they call “failure to thrive” – in other words, one that will never improve, and who will suffer more if given treatment to prolong life.
This is disgusting. Stupid child.
