(NEW YORK) It has sat atop one of TV’s most famous faces for years, but just days after attaining sentience, Tyra Banks’ forehead is moving on. The forehead has signed a deal with Oprah Winfrey’s new network to host a new talk show.
The show has a tentative title of America’s Top Foreheads.
“I was in a place where I had reached the limits of what I could do,” the forehead told The Peoples News. “And when Oprah comes calling, you can’t turn her down. No matter how hard you try. You physically can’t.”
The forehead says it will tackle entertainment stories as well society’s biggest issues, like race relations, abortion, global finance and political strife in Somalia.
“But then in our second week, in order to stave off cancellation, we’ll probably go with things like ‘Are my boobs too small’ and ‘Why my teenage daughter is a slut,'” said the forehead.
Banks said she would miss her forehead. It was the reason she became a successful model.
“In school, I was made fun of for a big forehead,” said the media mogul. “Then I walked into an agency and they were like, ‘We wouldn’t have signed if you (didn’t have) that big forehead ’cause then you would have been looking like a cheerleader and too normal.'”
America’s Top Foreheads will debut in January. Winfrey is hoping it will be the centerpiece of her new network, OWN, which stands for Oprah Wants for Nothing.
The forehead’s first guest is likely to either be Sade’s forehead or the oil slick that covers Jermaine Jackson‘s head.
