New Year, New TPN

Happy New Year and welcome to the new and improved Web site for The Peoples News. The site’s received a much needed makeover and the changes are more than skin deep.

In 2009, we’ll be delivering more content…and hopefully more laughs. Look for new, original stories from the TPN staff every Tuesday. Plus, everyday there are news stories that seem so ridiculous they had to have been made up. These stories are real and you can read them in “In Other News,” a daily collection of strange, but true articles from around the world. And just because it’s a new year, it doesn’t mean people won’t still be acting stupid (think Plaxico, O.J., Kwame Kilpatrick, et al.) Every Friday, TPN will take someone to task with its new feature, TPN‘s Triflin’ Person of the Week.

We appreciate your continued support and encourage you to get involved with The Peoples News. Participate in our interactive polls, submit story ideas, tell your friends about the site.

2009 promises to be an exciting year, ripe with topics deserving of our satirical spin. We look forward to sharing these stories with you.

  2. Hey, nice! I like the slick new look of your page. I’m also looking forward to reading more side-splitting satire. BTW: you also look better without your sunglasses 🙂
